Multi Blade
Gang-saw
The gang saw machine is made of stainless steel and is used
for cutting and sizing marble and granite blocks. It works
on the rectilinear long run motion for cutting marble and
granite blocks. The stone blocks rest in the blade rack and
the friction of the segments in both directions by means of
reciprocating motion facilitates the cutting of the block.
To ensure perfect rectilinear movement of the blade rack,
double connecting rods are attached at both ends of blade
rack.
For harder stone like marble, gang saws are still widely used today to cut large blocks into slabs. Average length of blades run from 12 to 15 feet. Machine is thoughtfully designed in such a way as not to
allow any deviation, function in complete alignment and
guarantee absolute precision. All parts are protected
against rusting.
Learn more about Gang Saw
A gang rip saw is a circular blade machine, usually of radial design, used for cutting across and above the stock. Stock is fed in front of the machine on a feed table with rolls and guides.
Operator Involvement
This saw requires the operator to position the stock, hold it stationary, then grasp the sawing mechanism and pull it across the stock. After the cut is complete, the blade must return to its original position behind the stock. The stock is then repositioned for the next cut.
