Also known as
block slicing machine, the single blade-dressing machine is
used
for
sizing
and dressing of stone blocks extracted from
mines. It is an essential tool for manufacturing stone
slabs. Being fully automatic, once activated it operates on
a pre-set cycle and need not be monitored by an operator.
The sawing function in the machine is governed by the
combined mechanical and hydraulic movement. The mechanism
allows for the conversion of mechanical movement into a
hydraulic one to ensure optimum tension and accurate cutting
of blocks. Electronic instruments mounted on a control panel
monitor the hydraulic tension of the blade.
